Nationwide Boiler's fully piped and wired 140,000 lbs/hr complete deaerating boiler feedwater system is designed to reduce oxygen in the boiler feedwater to 0.005 cc/l maximum from 20% to 100% of the operating range with 100% make-up water (no condensate return).

It is comprised of the following:
  • Design Pressure of 100 psig
  • 2,000 Gallons of Storage Capacity to Overflow
  • Fisher Pneumatic Level and Ametek Steam Pressure Controls
  • Feed Pump System Including: 6 Vertical \ Centrifugal Grundfos Pumps (60 gpm @ 740 TDH with 25 hp TEFC Motors Each)
  • Twin Kisco Softener—1,500,000 Grain Capacity (35-300 gpm Make-up Capacity @ 20 Grains Hardness)
  • Badger Electronic Totalizing Water Meter
  • Kisco Multimedia Inlet Filter with Manual Backwash
  • 2 Chemical Feed Stations (Deaerator and Boiler Feedwater)
  • Control and Motor Starter Panel including: Pump Starters, Pump Disconnect Switches, Control Circuit Transformer and Disconnect, Indicating Lights, Pump Selector Switch and Hand/off/Auto Pump Switches and an Alarm Horn with Additional Contacts for Remote Alarm
  • Electric Heating System
  • Electrical Service Entrance for 480 Volt (240 Maximum Full Load Running Amps)
  • NEMA 12 Panel Enclosures
  • ASME Code Design and National Board Stampings
